In the loop – September 2024

What an amazing spring day! The rain has finally stopped; wow, the sun and blossoms are delightful. Steve, our landscape consultant, captured this photo earlier in the week – full credit!

It was recently recognised that the orientational signs would have an extended life if we capped their tops. This would prevent rain seeping into the wood, which over time would lead to deterioration of the wood. Marsden Engineering came to the party and fabricated a cap. These will be installed in the next week or so. Thank you, Jarrod (pictured below) and team, for your design and fabrication -it was a pleasure to work with you.

A big shout out to the Temuka-Geraldine Rotary Club, which generously sponsored the cost of the caps. It was a pleasure to meet with you all to explain what we needed and update you on the progress of the Geraldine Sculpture Trail. This is a wonderful community collaboration for Geraldine’s benefit.

Thank you, all the best.
