Between seemingly incessant Nor Wester’s, chilly starts, the promise of warmer days that don’t eventuate and then finally the sun does come out and I’m not wearing sunscreen.
It is so encouraging to see the signs of spring, those lovely warm days and an absolute joy to be outside, but they are often a precursor to the opposite.
I am absolutely buzzing with is beautiful weather, crisp starts, to say the least, and gloriously sunny days ready to tip us into Spring, aren’t we so ready for it !
How lucky are we to have had two days of settled weather, as I write this article with the sun on my back, I really hope it continues for a few more, just lovely.
Glorious days following frosts are fabulous. Getting out and stretching your legs on one of the trails is relaxing and rejuvenating, and you never know whom you might bump into 😉
“‘Piwakawaka and the Pinecone’ just fits beautifully,” says Geraldine Sculpture Trail coordinator Rosie Woods. The bronze sculpture was unveiled on Friday at the Geraldine Library and Service Centre, the trail’s first permanent artwork.
What a stunning autumnal day. Was that damp summer worth it just so we can enjoy days like this, it almost seems that it was.
Wow, do I have some very exciting new to share with you. We have this beautiful sculpture coming to the Trail. It is by renowned artist, Fiona Garlick from Arrowtown. Fiona is one of our Art Advisory Groups top 10 artists selected for us to work with.
Summer arrived at the weekend, even though it is officially Autumn, what a crazy Summer it was, let’s see if Autumn is more settled.
